BREAKING: Columbus Adds Hall Of Famer To Help Replace Mike Babcock
Mike Babcock was relieved of duties recently and Columbus has added a Hall of Famer to help fill his void.
Jackets Add Recchi
It was just announced that the Columbus Blue Jackets have brought on Mark Recchi as an assistant coach.
The Columbus Blue Jackets have added Mark Recchi to Head Coach Pascal Vincent's staff as an assistant coach.
Throughout Recchi's lengthy NHL career, he registered 1652 games played and over 1500 points in that time span.
He will now move behind the bench to help the Blue Jackets and their young core develop into contenders one day.
Recchi retired from NHL hockey in 2011 and was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 2017. A person of that status in the hockey community will certainly have some tips and tricks for his players and will look to help develop young stars like Adam Fantilli, Kent Johnson, and David Jiricek into NHL superstars.
