BREAKING: NHL forced to postpone first game in months
With a massive snow storm expected in the Winnipeg area, the NHL has officially postponed the game between the Seattle Kraken and Winnipeg jets.
With the Jets in the hunt for the final wild card spot, this just delays a possible two points for them, which has got to be irritating.
#NHL has postponed tomorrow night's #nhljets game vs. #seakraken due to the blizzard in Winnipeg.
Game will be played on May 1 at 1pm. Decision was made not just for this game, but also would have inhibited postgame travel for Jets to visit (warmer) #FlaPanthers on Fri.� Frank Seravalli (@frank_seravalli) April 12, 2022
With COVID-19 causing many game cancellations earlier in the season, it has been awhile since we've had to deal with this. Thankfully though, this has nothing to do with the current pandemic, just some random record breaking snowstorm taking place in good'ol Canada during the month of April.
