When we say the hockey world, we even mean Bruce Cassidy himself as apparently he was told during his exit interview from the General Manager Don Sweeney that his position was safe for the upcoming season.

Cassidy was the Bruins coach for 6 years, he went 245-108-46 and made the playoffs in all 6 seasons, including a trip to the finals when they lost to the St. Louis Blues.
Since the firing of Cassidy, there has been a lot of criticism being shot at Don Sweeney and his abilities as General Manager.
Recent reports are that David Pastrnak will not sign an extension with the team while Don Sweeney remains the General Manager. His agent made an announcement the other day trying to clarify this situation saying their relationship is strong, but we don't know the full truth.
Bruce Cassidy: "The Bruin is basically tattooed to me. That's the difficult part. I feel I did my job. We can always get better, we can always be better .. '19 still bothers me to this day. Do I still wanna be here? Yes." Ty Anderson (@_TyAnderson) June 9, 2022
