BREAKING : Tomas Tatar Signs In The Western Conference
Tomas Tatar is headed to the Western Conference, confirmed after skating with a potential new team.
Tatar Skating With Potential New Team
According to multiple reports, Tomas Tatar, currently a UFA, is skating with the Colorado Avalanche, as apart of a team skate.
Later confirmed by NHL insider Chris Johnston, Tatar is signing a one-year contract with the Avalanche.
Tatar, 32, has been rumored in reports about a potential signing, and now does so for a contender in Colorado. In 82 Games last season with the New Jersey Devils, Tatar had 20 Goals, 28 Assists & 48 Points. Tatar brings a strong two-way game to an Avalanche team crippled with injuries to their forward group, including Captain Gabriel Landeskog who is out long-term with a knee injury with no timetable for his return.
Tatar was a 2nd round pick of the Detroit Red Wings in the 2009 NHL Entry Draft, 60th Overall.
