BREAKING: Vegas Makes Two High Profile Coaching Hires
The Vegas Golden Knights have hired two new assistant coaches who will look to help the Knights win a second straight cup.
Knights Hire Ducharme and Ward
It was just announced the Vegas Golden Knights will be hiring Joel Ward and Dominique Ducharme to be assistant coaches underneath Head Coach Bruce Cassidy.
Joel Ward had a lengthy NHL career spanning over 700 games and playing mainly with the Sharks and Capitals. He has recently been an assistant coach with the Henderson Silver Knights, the Golden Knights AHL affiliate.
Ducharme has NHL head coaching experience being the Head Coach for the Montreal Canadiens for just under a year from 2021-2022. He will be making his NHL return for the first time since being fired by the Canadiens in February of 2022.
These two high-profile additions will look to help the Golden Knights go back-to-back and win consecutive Stanley Cups.
