Barry Trotz makes a surprise decision on where he will coach next season

Since Lou Lamoriello and the New York Islanders Islanders let future hall of fame coach Barry Trotz go at the end of the season, it has been a bidding war around the league on the services of Trotz.
Unfortunately though, according to Darren Dreger of TSN, sources are saying that Barry Trotz has made the decision not to return to the NHL to coach next year.
Barry Trotz informed the WInnipeg Jets today, who were the front runner of landing Trotz, and let him know that he intends on just focusing on family for the time being.
Trotz acknowledged how hard of a decision this was to not accept a coaching job in Winnipeg, Dreger mentioned.
Sources say Barry Trotz has decided NOT to immediately jump back into coaching. Trotz informed the Winnipeg Jets of his decision today and intends on continuing to focus on family. Trotz acknowledged how difficult the decision was to not accept the head coaching job in Winnipeg.
