In a surprising turn of events, it was reported on Twitter that Jonathan Quick is leaving the Vegas Golden Knights to sign with his childhood team.
Quick Leaves Vegas
Only months after joining the team, Quick has officially reached a deal with the New York Rangers.
At 37 years old, he'll be a great number two to Igor Shesterkin and will bring a ton of experience to the young Rangers team.
As reported by NHL Breakers:
"Jonathan Quick will sign with the Rangers once free agency officially opens, per Kevin Weekes & Elliotte Friedman.
The Rangers were Quick's childhood team"
It should be confirmed by the team tomorrow, when the free agents market opens up.
