When the Colorado Avalanche won the Stanley Cup it came at a significant price health wise. Team Captain Gabriel Landeskog required an offseason surgery that has kept him out of action for the entire season. Now injuries to Darren Helm, Josh Manson and Bowen Byram continue to pile up.
Today Head Coach Jared Bednar gave a not very promising update on one of his key forwards.
On @AltitudeSR, Bednar says Landeskog, Byram and Manson are not close to returning.
MacKinnon is skating and they think he's getting close.
Helm has no exact timeline. Kaut is week to week.
Cogliano will play tonight. Nichushkin expected to miss time. Frankie out as well.
