The Edmonton Oilers were looking to tie the series up with the Los Angeles Kings Wednesday night after a disappointing game one.
So you knew the Oilers were going to come out flying Wednesday night in Rexall place. Connor McDavid followed Kings defenceman Mike Anderson into the corner as he went to play the puck. McDavid slowed down a little bit and hit Anderson from behind right on the back of the numbers into the boards.
McDavid received a 2 minute penalty on the play but many are speaking out saying if that was just a common player they would have gotten 5 minutes and a game misconduct.
