The entire NHL was betting against the Toronto Maple Leafs last night, except for Leafs fans. The two-time stanley cup champion Tampa Bay Lightning came out flat in game 1 against the Maple Leafs and failed to score a single goal.
The Bolts had a 5 minute powerplay in the first period and almost failed to register a single shot.
The Leafs came out hard and played a very good game, but head coach Jon Cooper refuses to give this team any respect that it deserved after their performance last night.
