He returned in the series against the St. Louis Blues and won the series, but in game 1 versus the Edmonton Oilers, he pulled himself because he said he was having trouble seeing.

But the good news now is that Kuemper is 100% and there is still atleast a week before the Stanley Cup finals gets going, so he has more time to let the injury heal.
