With each passing day it seems more and more likely that Jakob Chychrun is going to be on the move. Especially after news leaked out today that the proposed new Tempe Arena facility doesn't have the required votes needed to get City Council approval.

On the Saturday night Hockey Night in Canada broadcast Jeff Marek shared the following information.

«I can confirm that at least 10 teams in the NHL have made enquiries about Jakob Chychrun."

Marek went on to say that teams had already begun presenting offers to Arizona, «A couple of offers have given the Coyotes cause for pause.»

The Coyotes have already shared that they don't feel a need to move Chychrun unless someone meets their asking price for the young blue liner.

Marek went on to share the expected return for Chychrun would need to be similar to the one Minnesota received when they traded Brent Burns to the San Jose Sharks in 2011. The package in that trade saw Devin Setoguchi, Charlie Coyle and a 1st round pick in 2012.

Marek added:

«So what the Coyotes are looking for is a young player, a high-end prospect plus a first-round pick. Teams we believe who have the assets and could do that and might be interested include the Los Angeles Kings, the St. Louis Blues and certainly the Anaheim Ducks, who might be losing Hampus Lindholm to unrestricted free agency at the end of the season.»

The Boston Bruins, Toronto Maple Leafs, Vancouver Canucks and even the Montreal Canadiens have been reported to have shown some level of interest in Chychrun.
