The New York Rangers were going into game 2 looking to tie the series with the Pittsburgh Penguins after a crazy 4-3 triple overtime loss in game one. The New York Rangers came out flying from the opening puck drop.
The Rangers would strike first and would then add to the lead, the Penguins tried to fight back but the Rangers would build up a 5-2 lead which the Penguins couldn't catch.
Thing would go off the rails when Pittsburgh Penguins forward Jeff Carter clipped New York Rangers Igor Shesterkin causing a scrum and every Ranger wanting to get a piece of Carter.
Thankfully for the Rangers Igor Shesterkin seems to be okay, Jeff Carter got sent to the room and the Rangers tie the series 1-1 heading back to Pittsburgh.
