As many of you already know, Keith Yandle was a healthy scratch the other night versus the Toronto Maple Leafs, thus ending his NHL Record Iron Man Streak for consecutive games played.
This started an up-roar between fans, teammates, active players, former players and analysts on how poorly the Philadelphia Flyers were treating this well respected veteran player.
It was reported that several teammates were unhappy with the decision by management and wanted to speak to the coach, but Yandle responded to them with:
"Don't worry about it, boys. It's really not a big deal. It's just part of the business."
This is a very classy move by Yandle, who just shows that winning is the most important thing, not individual records.
