The Vancouver Canucks have been a hot mess as of late, and now, Head Coach Rick Tocchet has benched J.T. Miller in shocking scenes as his time in Vancouver appears to be winding down.

Over the past few weeks, it's been nothing but drama for the Vancouver Canucks, and that reached fever pitch on Thursday night as they were beaten by the Los Angeles Kings in dominant fashion 5-1.

In the game, the trio of Brock Boeser, Elias Pettersson, and J.T. Miller were a combined -6, but it was the actions of the latter on the bench that drew the attention and the ire of not only the fanbase, but Head Coach Rick Tocchet as well.

Canucks reporter David Quadrelli revealed on social media that Tocchet went over to Miller on the bench and had a word with him, with this simple picture saying everything it needs to about the current situation in Vancouver.

With just 14 minutes of ice time and absolutely nothing to show for it on the score sheet, Miller appears to be a player that's simply checked out, and then, videos like this are posted on social media that only reiterate that fact even further.

For Miller, the talent is still there, as he posted 103 points in just 81 games played a season ago, but with all of the external noise and the drama surrounding him and Elias Pettersson non-stop in their faces, it's easy to see why his season is going this way.

Still, teams like the Rangers, Sabres, Red Wings, and Bruins are all in play as trade destinations for the 31-year-old, and unless something changes quickly, it's only going to be a matter of time until the fans vocally turn on him and force him out of town.
