Vancouver Canucks forward JT Miller is starting to face consequences from Rick Tocchet for the ongoing drama with Elias Pettersson.

The two star forwards have apparently been feuding all season long which has proven to be the single biggest storyline surrounding the Canucks this season.

At this point, it feels like something has to give soon, and that most likely means a trade.

In fact, the feud has gotten so bad that Canucks captain Quinn Hughes is reportedly sick of Miller's antics.

Luckily, it seems like Hughes, Pettersson, and everyone else on the team may get what they want shortly.

NHL insider Chris Johnston recently noted that Miller is the more likely player to be traded, adding that we may not see many moves around the league until that domino falls.

"There's a sense league-wide that J.T. Miller is the more likely to be moved. We might not see much action otherwise league-wide until something happens here with Vancouver because this is such a big domino that's out there."

Lately, Miller has started to see on-ice consequences for his actions.

Canucks head coach Rick Tocchet has started to lower his ice time, giving him less than 15 minutes a night in his last two games.

When asked about this trend, he told reporters that Miller needs to be better, and he knows it.

"He's not hurt. He needs to be better, he knows it."

Over his last four games, Miller is a -3, has zero points, and 4 penalty minutes.

He seems to have checked out on the team as he knows he will likely be traded soon.

Canucks fans have picked up on this, expressing their frustration with one of the highest-paid players on the team.

Many are actively hoping that he gets traded.

With the way things appear to be going, those fans may very well have their wishes granted sooner rather than later.

Be sure to keep an eye on the Canucks in the coming days as a major trade could be just over the horizon.
