Legendary Wes McCauley explains why he became a referee and it's hilarious!

Wes McCauley is one of the most respected referee's in the league by not only the players but the fans as well. Known as one of the most charismatic referee's for his penalty calls, he provides entertainment to the game for the games that other referee's do not.

During the first round of the Tampa Bay Lightning and Toronto Maple Leafs games, Nikita Kucherov was caught asking McCauley how he picked his job, and his answer is hilarious!

Actually though, McCauley was a draft pick of the Detroit Red Wings back in the 90's.
