Today's game between the Pittsburgh Penguins and Nashville Predators was intense to say the least.
After the Jeannot/Matheson fight things kept getting chippier. Tn the finals seconds of the 2nd period with the score tied 1-1 Predators Mark Borowiecki and Penguins Evgeni Malkin were having battle in the Predators end.
The two would give each other a couple good slashes then Malkin lost his cool giving Mark Borowiecki a cross-check to the throat busting him open.
Expect the NHL department of player safety to look at this incident and most likely see Evgeni Malkin suspended. But who knows some players get away with nothing so I guess will see.
