Matthews has now scored 56 goals in 66 games this season and there is still time for more.
He could become the first player to score 60 in a season since Steven Stamkos did it in 2011-12, and Ovechkin who scored 65 in 2007-08.
What we do know though is the sky is the limit for this young sniper who just continues to get better each and every year.
Matthews and Marner could become the first duo in Leafs history to record 100 points each. We will just have to wait and see if they can accomplish this with the remaining games this season.
