With the Stanley cup playoffs right around the corner, we have a clash of two titans from the Easts tonight, with the Toronto Maple Leafs hosting their original 6 rival the Boston Bruins at Scotiabank Arena.
This looks like it could be a potential playoff match up to what hockey fans would say: ''yes please give me 7 games between these two teams.''
This series could get even more interesting because it will also feature two of the NHL's better trash talkers, in veteran forwardsBrad Marchand and Wayne Simmonds.
"I've known him for a long time and we played the World Juniors together back in '08, so Ihave a little bit of a relationship with him. Icould say some things, but it wouldn't be child-friendly, Yeah, he's a great competitor out there and he'll do anything it takes to win. You have to respect that as an opponent, but at the same time, you can use it against him a little bit. He's an unbelievable player, one of the best in the League, and he chips in more than points wise for his team.
There's no friends on the ice, ever."
Brad Marchand recently came in 1st place in amNHLPApoll of players being asked who they dislike playing against the most and yet would love to have as a teammate.
