One of the Original 6 teams the Toronto Maple Leafs have a rich history over their 105 years, the franchise has completed alot of special things. However Toronto Maple Leaf stars Auston Matthews and Mitch Marner have a opportunity to accomplish something very special and history making.
With the Toronto Maple Leafs having just 12 games left in their regular season Auston Matthews is just 5 points away from a 100 point season and teammate Mitch Marner needs to nail 12 more points, if they can complete this task they would make Franchise history for the first time the Leafs ever had two players with a 100 point season.
This is actually surprising news with all the talented players the Leafs have had over the history of the Leafs to hear that they've never had 2 players accomplish this together. However if anyone can do it it would be these two with Matthews and Marner two of the best players in the entire NHL today.
