Last night the New York Rangers were eliminated from the Eastern Conference Finals at the hands of the Tampa Bay Lightning in 6 games, after having a 2-0 series lead.
Today the Rangers resign their 2018 9th overall pick Vitali Kravtsov to a one year deal, after he left the NHL last season over ice time and constantly being sent to the AHL.
Kravtsov played 19 games in the KHL this season for Chelyabinsk Traktor scoring 13 points and put up an additional 10 points in 15 playoff games.
This one year deal pays this former top 10 pick, $875,000 for one year.
