So far the Edmonton Oilers and Evander Kane has been a good match as he has been producing and staying out of trouble. So far Kane has 16 goals and 29 points in 35 games, and has only 52 minutes in penalties.
Some of those came from the incident with Minnesota Wild's Ryan Hartman who admitted he's Kane's number one fan throwing up one finger.
This prompted Bob Stauffer to serve fans a weird stat about Evander Kane:
There is one player in the NHL who has scored 280+ goals in his career...and stepped up and fought Ryan Reaves and Zdeno Chara in the last few seasons... Evander Kane. Bob Stauffer pointed out with the salary cap, Oilers GM Ken Holland has got a lot of decisions to make if he wants to resign Kane. If they choose to resign him they might not be able to afford players like Kailer Yamamoto and Jesse Puljujarvi who are due for atleast a small raise off their rookie contracts.
Fans have been impressed with some of Kane's outings, though they remain tentative about what he can bring to the Oilers, including his many off-ice issues.
"Fans got angry at Stauffer's ludicrous statistic and offered some good ones of their own, with one fans using the same approach to say that«only one player in the NHL who has paid for 3 adulteress abortions, had 2 assault allegations, waved a gun at a pregnant woman, been kicked off 3 NHL teams and referred to his car as the «G Wagon» in the last few seasons"
