The Story continues from the game between the Anaheim Ducks and Arizona Coyotes after Jay Beagle beat on Ducks forward Troy Terry.
The Coyotes where frustrated that the they were getting beaten by the Anaheim Ducks 5-0 and some rough housing ensued which ended with Jay Beagle beating the snot out of Troy Terry.
Tyson Nash is the latest to make headlines with his comments.
"Well, that's the problem, sometimes, with these young players. You want to embarrass guys, and you want to skill it up? You better be prepared to get punched in the mouth."
Today, while appearing on the Cam and Strick Podcast, Nash doubled down on his comments. Nash respects how skilled the Ducks young players are, But adds that if they continue to chirp a team when they're down, the team will respond whether they think it's right or not.
"I guess if there was one thing I would change is that people have jumped all over me about, is that I was trying to, you know, downplay and and be negative on the skill aspect of the game which is laughable because if people actually took the time and again all these media people you know have jumped all over me and everyone that I've called and talked to the they're all like, oh my god, I'm so sorry, you're right.
I only watched, the 15 second snippet and I made a comment. I'm like, yeah, that's because that's what you guys do. We showed his original lacrosse goal, we showed plays throughout the entire game. Look at this guy selling a skill, selling the game because I love it, but there's a progression to the game and there's things that happen along the way in the game, the smiles, the smirks, the chirping between the benches, this kid chirping, and I love it and I absolutely love this kid.
I love that he chirps. I love his swagger love his cockiness, but all I'm saying, is, when you're gonna do all that be prepared to get punched in the mouth,Jay Beagletold Zegras, multiple times in that game to settle down and knock it off. Otherwise, you know and what happened the kid didn't.
Listen, the kid just continues to go on, it's five, nothing. It's a team, by the way, that lost 11 straight games, before this coming in and they're skating around against the Tucson. Road Runners, who had 11 American hockey league players in their lineup and their skating around. Like, there's a globetrotters and it's embarrassing."
