Philadelphia Flyers fans are ANGRY with the team as feel they 'disrespected' a player
If you are a Philadelphia Flyers fan, it hasn't been a good year for you, and unfortunately, the offseason didn't get any better. Fans were hoping that the Flyers would make a big splash and even 'a big splash' wanted to sign with them in Johnny Gaudreau, but they never even attempted to offer him a contract. In fact, the Flyers hardly ended up doing anything and will go into next season with the same disappointing team as last season.
Now Flyers fans are showing even more frustration after the team sent out a promotional email and feel they disrespected a player on the team.
It wasn't the email content that bothered the fans, it was the fact that they didn't even proof read their own players names. In the email, it features Travis Sanheim, one of the teams best defenceman who has been with the organization for 5 seasons now and is a veteran of over 300 games with the franchise.
The problem with the promotional email though, is they spelt Sanheim incorrectly. In the email it was spelt ''Sanhiem'' which, yes, minor mistake, but right now with the fanbase angry with the team, these minor mistakes mean big things.
