After falling behind 2-0 in their series against the New York Rangers, the 2 time defending Stanley cup champs have clawed their way back and have tied the series at 2.

The Lightning have been missing one of their best players in Brayden Point since game 7 of the first round against the Toronto Maple Leafs when he fell awkwardly into the boards. He tried to make a return in that game but only managed one shift before he forced himself to shut it down and he has not played since.

Lightning coach Jon Cooper had this positive news to say about him today though:

I can honestly answer this question with 'I don't know,'" Cooper said Wednesday. "I'll find out when I get on the plane, so I'll have an answer for you tomorrow. But now we're getting into the point where I don't know if there will be definitive outs. I'd be surprised if he plays this next game, honestly, but I'm not going to sit here and say he's out for the series anymore.

While this does not guarantee Point can return in this series, this is huge for the possibility of Point making a return if the Lightning make it back to the finals.

The Bolts are heading to New York for game 5, could we see a Brayden Point return?
