Last season there were 32 teams in the National Hockey League for the first time ever, and one team who has been in the league since 1967 finished in the bottom 4. No it's not the Maple Leafs, 67 is just when they won their last cup.
The Philadelphia Flyers went into last season with hopes to compete for a playoff spot, they did all the right offseason things, brought in two new defenceman, brought in a new scoring forward, they made all the right offseason moves, but unfortunately, they finished in 28th.
The Flyers are not a team that wants to enter a rebuild, they want to remain competitive, and for this reason they brought in legendary coach John Tortorella to bring this team back to glory.
On a recent interview, Torts made the claim that his team had absolutely no respect in the league currently.
