Earlier today the Boston Bruins tied the series with the Carolina Hurricanes 2-2 after falling 2-0 to open the 7 game contest
It was a commanding 5-2 for Beantown in what has been a very high scoring and exciting series.
Little ball of hate
Brad Marchand has been heavily involved in the rivalry in the series battling frequently with Canes defenseman Tony DeAngelo.
We can see the bad blood between the forward and defenseman below in their verbal sparing match after the play had been stopped.
When asked what he had told DeAngelo Marchand replied:
"How's your mother's day?"
With the series even after 4 games we can look forward to more on-ice battles between Marchand and DeAngelo in what has been a great opening series of the NHL playoffs so far.
Marchand has scored 9 points so far in 4 games, while DeAngelo has scored 5 points and logged big minutes as a defenseman.
