Sunday, December 17th has turned into a depressing day for hockey players. Brady Grasdal, a former player in the Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League, died at the age of 21.
Support posted for the 21-year-old hockey player across teams
The Nipawin Hawks, Grasdal's former team in the SJHL, took to X, formerly known as Twitter, to post about the former player.
Grasdal was born in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan. The city also sent out a forlorn post.
Additionally, he played with the Portage Terriers for two seasons between 2020 and 2022 in the Manitoba Junior Hockey League. The league sent a condolence statement as well.
We send our sincere condolences and prayers to his friends and family in this difficult time.
