In case you didn't hear this story, it's crazy, meet Hunter. Hunter is a young Montreal Canadiens fan. Hunter's favourite player is none other than Nick Suzuki.

Hunter made a really cool picture to take to the game to show Nick Suzuki in hopes of an autograph or a puck. There's a new trend where players toss pucks over the glass to young fans of their team for candy or rock paper scissors.

Suzuki liked Hunter's sign, so he threw a puck directly over the glass but unfortunately Hunter missed catching it and hit him in the nose causing in the little guy to have a nice bleed and was he was a little upset.

Suzuki the stand up guy he is, came out to meet Hunter giving him another puck signed by himself, aswell as a selfie together and even an autographed hockey stick.

Just when Hunter was having the time of his life, staff from Scotiabank Arena ended this great moment, and according to Hunter's father Steven Beauparpant the two were asked to leave Scotiabank Arena.

In a pathetic excuse by the employee at Scotiabank Arena, Hunter was not allowed to hold the stick in his hand because it was considered a weapon. Unfortunately even trying to explain what happened wasn't enough, they had to leave upsetting his poor Hunter.

Hunter's Father shared the news on Social media saying this:

"Thanks Nick for taking a selfie & making sure Hunter was ok after he didn't catch the puck you tossed him," wrote Steven on his twitter. "He loves the stick, puck autograph & Fat Lip. A memory that will last a lifetime. Had to leave the game cause the stick wasn't aloud."

Needless to say the story went viral and painted a bad picture on the Toronto Maple and Scotiabank Aren. Many were shocked to learn that the Leafs and their parent company Maple Leafs Sports and Entertainment would engage in such behavior, and as a result he was asked to confirm whether or not they had indeed been made to leave. The father would confirm that his son chose to keep the stick gifted to him by Suzuki, and therefore they were unable to stay for the game.

"Ya it was kinda brutal, they said it's considered a weapon, poor kid had a busted lip and didn't wanna lose his stick so we went back to hotel

However this story didn't end there, the Montreal Canadiens have responded to the story published online by Steven and have already reached out to him in an effort to make things right for the Father and son who both love watching Habs games together.

Here's the message the Canadiens sent to Steven:

Hello, we're glad to hear Hunter is doing well!

Our friends Tricolore Sports would like to send him a Nick Suzuki jersey! Could you please open your direct messages so we can get your contact information Thank you for your continued support #GoHabsGo
