The Toronto Maple Leafs and Tampa Bay Lightning took to the ice in Tampa for game 4 of their series. The Toronto Maple Leafs took a 2-1 series lead in game 3 and the two time defending Stanley cup champions gave the Leafs a taste of their own medicine whooping them 7-3.
The Maple Leafs took numerous penalties, 8 in fact, most a result of failure to compete. During a play they were going into the Lightning's end, William Nylander slowed down to a snails pace to avoid any physical contact in
corner. Let's just say it didn't go unnoticed by the National Television broadcast.
The ESPN broadcast can be heard on the audio, neither Eddie Olczyk or Keith Jones were accepting of this sort of effort from William Nylander, who was also criticized on social media by many of Leafs Nation.
