Blackhawks make trade with Islanders involving five high draft picks
The Chicago Blackhawks GM Kyle Davidson has just completed a trade with the New York Islanders GM Lou Lamoriello involving five different draft picks.
The Blackhawks and Islanders have officially completed a trade involving two first-round picks and three second-round draft picks in the upcoming 2024 draft.
TRADE ALERT: #Isles acquire picks #20, #54, and #61 in this year's draft from the #Blackhawks for Picks #18 and #50.

The Blackhawks moved up a few spots in both the first and second rounds and only had to give up a late second-round pick to do so. They already hold the second overall pick in the 2024 draft and may be looking to add another top-ten pick with the picks they just moved for.
