Reporter Mark Spector accuses Evander Kane of causing drama
Recently on the Jason Gregor show, reporter Mark Spector came on and accused Edmonton Oilers forward Evander Kane of causing drama at the worst time possible.
Come the Stanley Cup Playoffs, things get far more serious as teams are looking to battle through four rounds to win the most coveted trophy in hockey. So far, the Edmonton Oilers have been performing well taking down the LA Kings in the first round and defeating the Vancouver Canucks in seven games in the second round.
However, despite this success, reporter Mark Spector has shared that Evander Kane may be starting drama at the worst time imaginable, the playoffs.
"As has been the case all of Kane's career, too much drama boys. Too much drama around Evander Kane. Useless drama. This is needless drama that you don't need starting the playoffs, that you don't want in your dressing room. he runs his course as the bringer of drama." - Mark Spector
If Spector's accusations are correct, Kane is putting himself ahead of the Oilers and could potentially screw them over as the off-ice drama could distract them from the on-ice product.
As it stands, the Oilers are up 1-0 on the Dallas Stars in the Western Conference Finals on the backs of three goals from Connor McDavid, Zach Hyman, and Leon Draisaitl.
