BREAKING: Florida Panthers Acquire Top Winger In Trade With Canadian Team
The Florida Panthers have made their first move of the trade deadline.
Panthers Add Goal-Scoring Winger In Trade With Senators
NHL insider Elliotte Friedman was first to report this morning that the Florida Panthers were closing in on a deal for Vladimir Tarasenko from the Ottawa Senators.
His report was quickly backed up by other insiders including Blues reporter Andy Strickland, who had more details on the trade early this morning. While the full details of the deal have not been revealed, it seems as though the Senators are receiving two draft picks in exchange for the 32-year-old.
Vladimir Tarasenko to Florida Panthers looks like it is happening. Two picks coming back to Ottawa.
Tarasenko has been quite good this year for the Senators in a somewhat lesser role than he is used to. He is the latest addition to the Panthers deep forward core as the team looks to continue to build around their offense.
