Tonight a major trade has been completed between the Calgary Flames and another team out West sending Chris Tanev to a new home.

Major news is coming in from multiple sources confirming that Chris Tanev has been traded to the Dallas Stars. Tanev has been in rumors for weeks and now the deal has finally been completed.
Calgary and Dallas are working on a Chris Tanev deal. Developing.
According to Dave Pagnotta of The Fourth Period, the Flames will be getting back a second-round pick and a prospect for Tanev.
Tanev off the board goes to Dallas for a second round pick and a prospect.

Tanev heads to Dallas where he adds another bonafide top defenseman to their already stacked lineup. The Stars now become a legitimate contender in the Western Conference with this move.
