Evander Kane Starts to Cause Trouble in the Oilers' Locker Room
The ever-controversial Evander Kane played with the Winnipeg Jets and the San Jose Sharks before coming to Edmonton. Everywhere he played, controversies pushed him out of his organization. Why would it be different with the Oilers?
We learned that Kane is apparently starting to cause trouble in the Oilers' locker room.
Evander Kane Starting to Bring Trouble in Edmonton?
Even though Kane seemed to be getting along and acting professionally with the Oilers, things have started to go south earlier this season. Ryan Rishaug from TSN has noted that tensions are rising lately.
We've seen that Kane hasn't been happy when he's been on the third line. I don't think there's a chemistry between him and Leon right now. I know that you watch body language and you watch the bench a lot, there was a very animated conversation two games ago between Kane and Leon on the bench.
Tensions Between Kane and his Teammates to Push Him Out of Edmonton?
As of now, it doesn't seem like the situation has escalated to the point of cutting ties with Kane immediately, but with two years left on his contract, the upcoming summer will be crucial.
Kane has the potential to significantly contribute to the Oilers' championship aspirations. However, if these problems don't get resolved, the team might have to consider their options. With less than 10 days before the deadline, the situation in Edmonton could become even more intriguing.
More to come.
