Team Canada hasn't been anywhere near their best this World Juniors tournament, and now Head Coach Dave Cameron has made yet another ridiculous decision as they face a must-win game with Team Czechia.

Before the 2025 World Juniors tournament even began, Canada was on the back foot on the back of leaving out the likes of Michael Misa, Andrew Cristall, Zayne Parekh, Carter Yakemchuk, and Tij Iginla, who many believe were much better than the current team.

Unfortunately for fans of the team, the lack of talent has been evident throughout the tournament, especially in their two losses to the United States and Latvia, with the team putting up just one goal in their latest loss to Team USA.

Despite their offensive struggles, the team is reportedly leaving sniper Carson Rehkopf out of their lineup for a must-win game against Czechia, despite the team being one of the worst offensive teams in the tournament thus far.

The sentiment of all of Canada is best summed up by Jeff Marek, whose response was nice and simple:

That's not all, however, as reports have emerged that Team Canada has canceled practices throughout this tournament, with Scott Wheeler of The Athletic noting that they are yet to skate since the loss to Team USA, a baffling decision that many have questioned.

It's unclear what the thought process behind either of these decisions was, but at this point, Hockey Canada is directionless at this tournament, with many Canadian fans themselves becoming frustrated with the way things have gone thus far.

Ultimately, this team was behind the 8-ball before the tournament even began with their roster decisions, and with Dave Cameron clearly out of his depth in coaching this tournament, we may see yet another disappointing end for Team Canada.
