The Boston Bruins and Minnesota Wild completed another trade tonight as we head into tomorrow's trade deadline.

The Minnesota Wild are in a comfortable position going into tomorrow's trade deadline as their spot in the playoffs is all but secure.
As a result, the team will likely be buyers and they proved that tonight by completing a deal with the Bruins.
The Bruins appear to be selling as they currently sit outside the playoffs, and again, this deal is evidence of that.
Moments ago, NHL insider Kevin Weekes reported that the Wild would be sending Marat Khustnidinov and Jakub Lauko to the Bruins, but he did not specify what the return would be.
Luckily, fellow insider Frank Seravalli quickly followed up Weekes' report, confirming that the Bruins would be sending Justin Brazeau the other way.
This season has been Brazeau's first full-time year in the NHL and the 27-year-old has 10 goals and 20 points in 57 games to show for it.
He figures to be a solid depth contributor for the Wild, who are hoping to get past the first round of the playoffs for the first time since 2015.
For the Bruins, this deal brings in young talent in the form of 22-year-old former second round pick Marat Khusnutdinov, who has 7 points in 57 games this year in his rookie season.
They also are reunited with Jakub Lauko, who appeared in 83 games with the Bruins between 2022 and 2024, collecting 6 goals and 17 points in the process.
The 24-year-old center has just 3 goals and 6 points in 38 games this season with Minnesota.
All things considered, this is a fairly minor trade between these two clubs, but it could be indicative of more to come tomorrow, so be sure to stay tuned for that.
