It has been a long time coming, and now it appears more real than ever that the NHL are relocating the Arizona Coyotes next season.
There have been rumours swirling for months surrounding the future of the Arizona Coyotes, and while Gary Bettman, for some reason seemingly won't give up on them, their time may have come. That time may be much sooner than most expected too, with reports now emerging that the league is drafting two schedule's next season, with one for a potential relocation of the Coyotes to Salt Lake City.

Fluid situation. Lots of moving parts. Details on dual paths and a potential transaction.
The Coyotes are still waiting on a land auction that takes place in June, and even if they don't win that, there's the potential for Bettman to keep them in Arizona, but for now, relocation appears to be a major option for the league. While Atlanta and Houston have been rumoured as potential expansion cities, relocation to Salt Lake City makes sense, and if the city can get a fun young Coyotes team, it will be a major win.
