MARCHAND DROPPED THE GLOVES ON MARCHY 1K DAY 😱
While neither one landed many, if any punches, Marchand quickly took the upper hand with the takedown that send the Boston crowd into an absolute frenzy.
In 1,002 games with the Bruins, Marchand has tallied 315 goals and 912 points, but he has become known as the rat in the NHL for his ability to get under the skin of his opponents.
While those opposing players couldn't hate him anymore, the Boston fans and his teammates adore him, and with the C now on his chest, he looks to lead the team to the second Stanley Cup in his time as a Boston Bruin.
