BREAKING: Brad Marchand Delivers Dirty Hit That Could Result in a Suspension
On Sturday afternoon, in a game between the Boston Bruins and the Los Angeles Kings, captain Brad Marchand was the instigator of yet another dirty play.
Boston Bruins Captain Brad Marchand to Face Suspension After Dirty Elbow to the Head of Los Angeles Kings Player Viktor Arvidsson
During the third period of the game, Viktor Arvidsson tried to enter the offensive zone but hit a wall when Brad Marchand raised his elbow and hit him right on the head.
Here's how it went down:
No penalty was called on the play. Marchand stayed in the game and Arvidsson got treated by the Medical Staff on the bench.
"Marchand's elbow up and hits Arvidsson in the face as they collide. Play continues. Arvi being tended to on the bench. No penalty."
Even if he didn't go to the penalty bench, many expect Marchand to face a suspension from the League for that hit.
