Bruins Captain Set To Achieve Major Career Milestone
The Boston Bruins are set to host the Tampa Bay Lightning tonight. Both teams have serious playoff hopes this year but the contest will be a bit more meaningful for one player in particular. Bruins captain Brad Marchand is set to play in his 1000th career NHL game, a rare milestone only achieved by the league's best players.

Bruins Fans Celebrate Marchand's Historic Career
Notably, Marchand has spent his entire career with the Boston Bruins, becoming a beloved character within the team's fanbase. Outside of Boston though, he has become one of the most notorious pests in the league. As such, Bruins fans took to social media to applaud the team's captain for his major milestone.
Brad Marchand plays his 1,000th game in the NHL tonight, all with Boston. We've all been blessed to be able to watch him put up numbers and be a certified pest all in a Bruins uniform.
