Bruins captain Brad Marchand is set to play in his 1000th career NHL game, a rare milestone only achieved by the league's best players.

Notably, Marchand has spent his entire career with the Boston Bruins, becoming a beloved character within the team's fanbase. Outside of Boston though, he has become one of the most notorious pests in the league. As such, Bruins fans took to social media to applaud the team's captain for his major milestone.
