The 82 game hockey season is quite long, ensuring that there will be points where players do not get along. Some teams thrive when minor conflicts flare up, as long as they remain healthy and internal. It seems that the New Jersey Devils are beginning to show their frustration on the ice.

The New Jersey Devils recently played against the Pittsburgh Penguins in a game that was quite important for the upcoming playoffs. At the end of the second period, New Jersey was up 3-1 and it seemed that they were in a good position to win the game. Suddenly things collapsed for the Devils.

Sidney Crosby scored 7 minutes into the third period, making the game 3-2, at this point it seemed that the Devils fell apart. They let in 5 goals in the last 13 minutes of the game, finishing the game with a harsh 6-3 loss.

The following video was captured during the 3rd period by a fan who was sitting behind the Devils' bench.

"This video says a lot of things about our team and Timo Meier calling out Nico Hischier is absolutely amazing. Out of every single player we inked to long term deals, he's by far the best investment we made, that isn't named Jack Hughes. #NJDevils "

Meier appears to be losing his cool and yelling after the team captain, Nico Hischier, missed an opportunity. He can be seen yelling the word "shoot!" most likely telling Hischier to stop holding the puck waiting for an opportunity to pass. This is quite a disappointing end for the Devils season, they have essentially been eliminated from any chance for the post season.
