The New York Rangers are a franchise in disarray, and now GM Chris Drury is not done making moves according to top NHL Insider Pierre LeBrun.

This past month has been a nightmare for the New York Rangers, who dropped from the top of the Metropolitan Division to fifth place, with the team now on the outside looking in at a tough Stanley Cup Playoffs race.

The team has already made two huge trades, the most recent of which saw them ship Kaapo Kakko to Seattle, and with names like Ryan Lindgren and Jimmy Vesey still available, the team is clearly not done yet.

That was the sentiment echoed by TSN Insider Pierre LeBrun when he recently spoke on the Rangers this past week,

"The trade freeze comes Thursday night at midnight, so I don't know if he's got another one in him right now. But certainly between now and March 7th, I don't think he's done. The Rangers have been the biggest disappointment of the season in the NHL. You could argue Nashville, but unlike them, the Rangers were two wins away from the Stanley Cup Final six months ago. To see their fall from that position to this is unreal."

This could mean one of several things for New York, as it may suggest they're ready to go all in for a blockbuster deal to land a superstar, or it could suggest they are a team ready to sell off some veterans to recoup assets to go after a big fish in the off-season.

"Ever since the news leaked of Drury messaging other GMs about Kreider and Trouba being available, the Rangers are 0-3-9. If MSG's intent with that leak was to shake up and wake up the team, it clearly did not work. It went the other way. The team is in disarray, not on the same page, and it feels like those players don't enjoy coming to work every day. So no, I don't think Drury is done."

These comments suggest that an injection of talent into this lineup is the goal of Drury, who is clearly frustrated that the team didn't respond the way he expected when they leaked the news of Chris Kreider and Jacob Trouba's availability.

Only time will tell just how Drury and the Rangers want to shake things up before the March 7th trade deadline, but one thing is for sure, and that is that New York won't sit back on their heels and let a season go by without looking to aggressively make a change.
