Brady Tkachuk Loses His Cool During Another Ottawa Senators Loss
The Senators season is getting messy at this point, with all signs pointing to another failure to make playoffs. Now, Brady Tkachuk is letting his emotions get the better of him.
Brady Tkachuk Starts Scrum With Capitals Goaltender At End of Game
Brady Tkachuk is an emotional leader, that is without question. However, sometimes those emotions can get the best of him while not adding anything to the team. Last night, Tkachuk failed to keep himself in check at the end of the game against the Capitals and started to get into it with the Capitals goaltender. This had no impact on the game, and ultimately made the Senators look a bit unhinged in their loss.
One last scrum before the game ends for Tkachuk
The scrum came in the final seconds of the game, long after the team would have needed a spark to get things going. If Tkachuk was aiming to light a fire under his teammates, he should have done this much earlier. Instead, it appears that he just let his emotions run wild.
Tkachuk Adds Goal in Disappointing Loss However End of Game Antics Raise Questions About his Leadership
Tkachuk did do his part in trying to start a comeback earlier in the game by adding a goal to make the score 4-3, however, this was not enough to get the Senators back on track, and they failed to get anything else going after that.
His antics after the game made some hockey fans question just how good of a leader Tkachuk is for the Senators, and if they should look at another option to wear the C.
