Insider Jeremy Rutherford has shared that Brady Tkachuk is reportedly hitting the trade block for this upcoming offseason and could be traded by the Ottawa Senators.
The last time a Tkachuk hit the trade block, we saw one of the biggest trades of the past 20 years as Matthew Tkachuk was swapped for Jonathan Huberdeau and other assets.
We have acquired Matthew Tkachuk and a conditional fourth-round draft pick from Calgary in exchange for Jonathan Huberdeau, MacKenzie Weegar, prospect Cole Schwindt and Florida's lottery-protected first-round selection in the 2025 draft.
Two years later it looks like the other Tkachuk brother, Brady is hitting the trade block per insider Jeremy Rutherford.
It sounds like there is real smoke behind a Brady Tkachuk trade this offseason, with the St. Louis Blues being listed as a potential fit.
As per, Jeremy Rutherford.
Brady Tkachuk has yet to reach the heights Matthew Thachuk has hit as he has a career-high of 83 points which is nothing to scoff at. He is coming off a 74-point campaign where he posted a career-high 37 goals leading the Senators.
Tkachuk would certainly fetch a haul on the open market and any team looking to bring in a physical presence will try to land the power-forward's services.
