David Pastrnak and Matthew Tkachuk drop the gloves during blowout game
Star forwards Matthew Tkachuk and David Pastrnak have dropped the gloves with each other after a Panthers blowout win over the Bruins.
David Pastrnak and Matthew Tkachuk are known as two of the brightest stars in the NHL. While Tkachuk is known to drop the gloves from time to time, it is a rarity for Pastrnak.
While the Panthers were blowing the Bruins out, Pastrnak stood up to Tkachuk and dropped the gloves with him.
AND NOW DAVID PASTRNAK AND MATTHEW TKACHUK ARE FIGHTING!!!
Tkachuk, the more experienced boxer, easily handled Pastrnak but this does set a precedent for game three heading back to Boston.
It is rare that we see two 100-point players drop the mitts but in playoff hockey, anything goes. Both Tkachuk and Pastrnak have gotten to the Stanley Cup Finals but have fallen short of the ultimate goal with a loss to St. Louis for Pastrnak and a loss to Vegas for Tkachuk.
