Major news announced regarding the name of the new Utah hockey team
The Arizona Coyotes are of no more as it was announced a few weeks ago that they will be taking their franchise to Utah after failing to comply NHL regulations as an NHL team. We now have an update on the potential name of the new hockey team arriving in Utah before the upcoming season.
The new update means that for their inaugrual season, their jerseys aren't quite set yet with their name going to be Utah, however for their team nickname, it will be decided by the fans in a poll with 20 potential names available for choice.
For the inaugural season, the new team in Salt Lake City will only wear "UTAH" across its sweater.
Here are the 20 potential nicknames under consideration for the future via a fan vote.
