Ryan Lomberg knocks Jimmy Vesey out of the game with a massive hit
Florida Panthers forward Ryan Lomberg has knocked Jimmy Vesey of the New York Rangers out of the game with a massive hit that sent Vesey flying.
During the playoffs, the intensity of the game picks up massively and gets even more intense as the rounds go on. During the third round, the Rangers are taking on the Panthers and the games are getting quite chippy and physical.
It was just announced that Jimmy Vesey of the New York Rangers will not return for the rest of the game with an injury.
UPDATE: Jimmy Vesey (upper body) will not return tonight.

As it stands, the game is tied at one with about half of the third period to go. With Vesey out, the Rangers will need Matt Rempe to play a bit more and establish more of a physical presence.
