When the story broke that the Arizona Coyotes would not be allowed to put their logo on centre ice in the arena they'll be sharing with the Arizona State University Sun Devils it caused my laughter and criticism among hockey fans.
Although the stadium only holds 4800 fans won't be changing, it does now seem that the Coyotes will be able to put their logo on centre ice.
The logo will be next to the Sen Devils' logo, and won't be able to replace it during Arizona games, but this does mark an improvement from earlier news.
One has to feel for Arizona fans, who will be fighting for tickets in the smaller venue, and to see their teams logo, which is really quite nice, sharing space with a college hockey team.
The Coyotes finished second last in the league this year with 57 total points, and likely won't do much better with the GM explaining they were continuing to rebuild.
